Product Development Manager

As a candidate from General Insurance, you will be responsible for working on multiple product lines such as Fire, Engineering, Miscellaneous, etc. Your role will involve designing new products, modifying existing products, and ensuring adherence to product-related regulatory notifications. You will manage the end-to-end product cycle from conceptualization to the launch of the product, requiring cross-functional liaison. Your key responsibilities will include: - Preparing filing documentation for regulatory compliance in product filing. - Maintaining/storing documents with version control and managing the product calendar. - Ensuring milestone-wise adherence to the product calendar and reporting plan vs. actual report. - Coordinating with functions such as Underwriting, Actuarial, Compliance, Legal, Risk, Claims, Marketing, Sales, etc. - Preparing reports required for Management, GARO & Regulatory Reporting. - Supporting audit-related requirements for the Product Development function. - Automating reports for post-launch tracking of New Product Performance. - Conducting a market scan for building competition comparison and tracking new product launches in the industry. - Scanning overseas markets for potential opportunities. Qualifications required for this role: - Preferably MBA/Post Graduate in Insurance. - Minimum 6 years of experience in General Insurance, preferably in Product Development and/or Underwriting functions. - Exposure to customer-facing roles would be a plus. - Team Management Skills, Good Communication Skills, Domain Knowledge. - Proficiency in MS Word, Excel & PowerPoint. - Team player, Solution Oriented, Research Skills, Analytical Mindset.
