Product Development Lead

As a Product Development Lead at Micron Technology, you will have the opportunity to lead a multi-functional product development engineering team in delivering SSD products that align with the product delivery roadmap and schedule. You will serve as the technical authority in the program, guiding engineering teams, providing updates on development progress, and resolving technical issues. Additionally, you will act as the technical interface for external teams, including Marketing, FAE, and End customers. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with the Technical Program Manager to generate schedules for product delivery, coordinating the delivery of new product features with functional team schedules, and maintaining the overall program schedule. You will be accountable for requirements and product features closure with the SBU, as well as ensuring the delivery of products that meet TSM objectives and manufacturing guidelines. In this role, you will conduct Lessons Learned, FMEAs, and Design reviews during product development, as well as generate and update design process and product design documents. You will work closely with the Business Unit Core Team and Product Development to address technical customer issues and questions. The ideal candidate for this position will possess the ability to plan, schedule, and prioritize projects, lead and direct engineering resources, and mentor and guide team members. Knowledge of NAND/SSD, as well as experience with protocols like PCIe & NVME, is required. A full comprehension of product storage interface specifications and their implementation is essential, along with the ability to drive engineering efforts through all aspects of new product development and system-level debugging. Strong collaboration skills are key, as you will be working with functional teams, internal customers, and external customers. Outstanding social skills will enable you to effectively engage with multi-functional development teams and external customers.
