4. Should be able to cost out products and manage profit margins with a backup of strong financial and budgeting skills.

5. Shall be responsible for making & sending Samples of the customized product to the customers as per the requirement within the agreed timeline.

6. Overseeing the production process, including tooling, prototyping, and mass production, to ensure that luggage products meet quality and delivery requirements.

7. Managing the budget and timelines for NPD to ensure on-time delivery and profitability.

8. Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations, including product safety and environmental standards.

9. Maintain & storage of Legacy data of All existing Products & New Products .

Qualifications & Experience:

1. Education:

   Bachelor's or master's degree in industrial design, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

2. Experience:

   6 - 10 years in new product development, preferably in Hard luggage, travel goods, or consumer durable industries.

3. Technical Skills:

1. Expertise in CAD modelling (Creo, AutoCAD, or similar software).
2. Strong understanding of Mechanical engineering principles and their application in luggage design & development.
3. Knowledge of plastics, plastic moulding processes, and sheet metal fabrication.
4. Experience with product testing, validation, and compliance.
5. Proficiency in MS Projects / Gantt Pro for Gantt chart preparation.
6. Proficiency in MS Office tools, especially MS Excel (expert level).
