Product Development Engineer

As a product developer at the company, your role involves creating and developing new products, as well as improving existing ones. You will be responsible for conducting market research, collaborating with various teams like marketing, technical, and manufacturing specialists, and developing prototypes. To excel in this role, you should possess engineering and design knowledge, a solid understanding of the prototype design process, and excellent written and verbal communication skills. Successful product developers are highly innovative, adept at problem-solving, and work effectively in a team environment. Key Responsibilities: - Create and enhance products to meet market needs or enhance client competitiveness. - Determine product specifications based on diverse factors and use cases. - Support manufacturing and design activities by developing prototypes for products in the development phase. - Utilize market research and sales data to ensure product viability and competitiveness. - Conduct thorough online research for new and existing product development. - Submit proposals and designs for review by the project team and management prior to advancing to the next stage. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in electrical, electronic, instrumentation engineering, or industrial design. - Diploma in electrical, electronic, instrumentation engineering, or industrial design. - Minimum of 2 years of proven working experience as a product developer or engineer. Required Skills and Capabilities: - Proficiency in PCB designs. - Familiarity with prototyping equipment. - Proficiency in PCB design software such as Altium or Autodesk. - Proficiency in design software like SOLIDWORKS or Autodesk. - Proficiency in MS Office. - Strong teamwork, creativity, innovation, and problem-solving skills.
