Product Development Engineer

Our client is a Chinese companies in the fine chemical industry. To cope with the fast-growing steps, on behalf of our client, Collars Consultants is looking for qualified candidates with high motivation to join the winning team:

Product Development Engineer

Report to: Product Development Director

Location: India

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage the company’s market in the India region by maintaining existing customer relationships and expanding business opportunities.
• Introduce and promote company products and offer pre-sales and post-sales technical support for applications;
• Gather customer requirements and issues and provide feedback to the R&D team at headquarters for adjustments and optimizations;
• Facilitate communication among customers, the sales team, and the R&D team and coordinate the resolution of key issues to ensure sales targets are met.

QUALIFICATION:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a chemistry-related field with at least 7 years of work experience;
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in chemical product research and development or laboratory work, with a strong understanding of polyurethane products, solid theoretical and practical experience, and familiarity with related process technologies;
• At least 1 year of experience in field technical support and sales, demonstrating excellent communication skills and the ability to develop and maintain customer relationships;
• Fluent in English, with the ability to use it as a working language.
