Product Designer

As an Intern in Product Design based in Chennai, working from the office, you will play a crucial role in transforming initial concepts and mockups into complete end-to-end experiences within the product. Your responsibility will include translating customer and product requirements into visually appealing forms that not only convey information effectively but also prompt action. Collaborating with Product Managers, fellow Product Designers, and Engineers, you will iterate on new features and user journeys. You are expected to be a talented systems thinker and problem solver, capable of bridging the gap between diverse user groups and industry workflows to create intuitive design solutions and flows. Your role will involve continuous exploration of concepts, refinement of designs, and adjustment of flows to align with the overall vision. Furthermore, you will leverage solution validation studies to ensure the validity of your proposed directions. We are seeking a 2025 graduate or a soon-to-be graduate in a design or related field who possesses a solid understanding of fundamental design principles and has experience working with or contributing to a design system. A robust portfolio showcasing your design process and work is essential, demonstrating proficiency in user-centered design methods and principles, incorporating both quantitative and qualitative research techniques. Proficiency in modern design tools, with a preference for Figma, and the ability to prototype and test ideas are expected from the ideal candidate. You should exhibit critical and analytical thinking skills by asking pertinent questions before proposing solutions. Converting complex problems into elegant visuals should be one of your strengths. Moreover, familiarity with AI tools and the ability to seamlessly integrate them into your workflow will be advantageous. Effective communication and collaboration skills are essential, as you will need to articulate your decisions and collaborate efficiently with cross-functional teams.
