Product Design Specialist

As a Product Design Specialist at BT Group, you will play a crucial role in managing complex software engineering that provides Service Management and Service Assurance across the Digital Corporate Unit. Your primary responsibility will be to design and implement solutions aligning with business needs on the ServiceNow platform, focusing on TSM, HRSD, and SecOps products. Your collaboration with product owners, stakeholders, and squad members will be essential in delivering exceptional customer experience and driving operational efficiencies within the organization. **Key Responsibilities:** - Deliver the engineering strategy to ensure high-quality, on-time, and on-budget delivery, bringing measurability and predictability to the engineering capabilities - Execute complex technical decisions and architecture for high-performance products, balancing short-term impact with long-term transformation - Resolve strategic issues using advanced technical knowledge and develop bespoke solutions for new technologies and large-scale product impacts - Contribute to the technical roadmap development and execution to meet business needs and drive operational excellence - Foster an engineering culture of innovation and creativity while delivering high-quality products reliably - Write, test, and review code independently, refining and rewriting as necessary, and communicate effectively with project stakeholders - Implement new architectures, standards, and methods for large-scale enterprise systems - Mentor other software engineers, sharing knowledge on emerging trends and changes in software engineering **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field - Minimum of 10 years of experience as a Cloud Developer or Architect with successful project implementations - Experience with Azure and AWS cloud platforms, Google cloud knowledge is a plus - Hands-on experience with at least 2 public cloud implementations - Understanding of Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and Virtual Agents/Chatbots - Strong problem-solving skills and ability to analyze complex technical issues - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with diverse teams - ServiceNow certifications are valued - Knowledge of emerging technologies and the ServiceNow roadmap for innovative digital solutions About BT Group: BT Group is the world's first telco with an unrivaled heritage in the sector.
