Job Title: Product Designer Intern (Remote)

Location: Remote / Work-from-Home

About myBillBook:

MyBillbook is one of our flagship products that allows small businesses to create invoices, manage their outstanding and monitor their stock on the go. As a customer support associate, you will be responsible for handling customer queries, enhancing customer journey with our product and overall service experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams:

Work closely with product managers, engineers, and senior designers to conceptualize and execute product design solutions.

User Experience (UX) Design:

Participate in user research, user interviews, create wireframes, user flows, and prototypes to ensure intuitive and user-friendly interfaces.

Visual Design:

Contribute to the visual aspects of the product, including layout, color schemes, typography, and overall design aesthetics.

Prototyping:

Build interactive prototypes to communicate design ideas to stakeholders and validate design decisions through user testing.

Design Documentation:

Help create and maintain design guidelines, style guides, and other documentation to ensure design consistency across the platform.

Feedback & Iteration

: Actively participate in design critiques, gather user feedback, and iterate on designs to improve usability and functionality.

Stay Current:

Keep up to date with industry trends, design tools, and SaaS product design best practices to bring fresh ideas and perspectives to the team.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Completed a degree / course in Product Design

, User Experience (UX) Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or related fields (recent graduates may also apply).

Proficiency in Figma

, and other design software.

Understanding of UX/UI principles

and user-centered design processes.

Basic knowledge of prototyping tools

(e.g., Figma, V0, etc.) and the ability to create interactive designs.

Strong communication skills with the ability to present

and articulate design decisions to team members.

A keen eye for detail and a passion

for creating visually appealing, functional, and easy-to-use products.

Team player

with the ability to collaborate and contribute in a fast-paced, agile environment.

Portfolio of design work

(school projects, personal projects, or previous internships) demonstrating problem-solving skills and creative design solutions.
