Role Overview

As a Product Design Engineer, you will be responsible for turning design briefs into

market-ready product designs from ideation to prototyping and testing. Youll work

closely with R&D, manufacturing, and marketing teams to create products that are

aesthetically appealing, structurally sound, and user-centric.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and analyze new product opportunities based on customer needs and

market trends.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Marketing, Manufacturing) to define

product requirements and design goals.

• Create 2D and 3D concept drawings, technical schematics, and renderings using

tools like AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Rhino, or similar.

• Design and iterate on prototypes, ensuring fit, form, and function.
• Research sustainable materials, new technologies, and production techniques

suitable for UPVC and related components.

• Conduct usability tests and gather real-world feedback to improve product designs. Work with production teams to translate designs into manufacturable products,

optimizing for cost, efficiency, and scalability.

• Continuously enhance the design of existing product lines based on market

feedback and usage data.

• Ensure designs comply with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
• Maintain proper documentation for all design processes and revisions.

Requirements & Qualifications

Education-

Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.

Experience

construction materials, hardware, or consumer durables

Design Tools -

Adobe Creative Suite

Skills -

Soft Skills -
