 Procurement Specialist in the ceramic industry, you will manage sourcing activities, vendor negotiations, and supply chain operations to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of raw materials, packaging, and machinery. Your role is critical in maintaining production efficiency and optimizing procurement strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Raw Material Procurement:

  Source clays (domestic/imported), glazes, and other ceramic inputs.

• Vendor Management:

  Identify, evaluate, and onboard domestic and international suppliers.

• Contract Negotiation:

  Secure favorable terms and long-term agreements with suppliers.

• Inventory Planning:

  Forecast demand and manage stock levels to avoid production delays.

• Cost Optimization:

  Analyze spend data and implement cost-saving initiatives.

• Logistics Coordination:

  Oversee import/export processes and liaise with customs and freight agents.

• Technology Support:

  Collaborate with R&D and production teams for material compatibility and innovation.

• MIS Reporting:

  Maintain strong reporting systems for tracking material movement and price trends

• Tally erp/prime

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field
• Experience in ceramic or manufacturing industries preferred(Any industry
