Manager Procurement

Key Responsibilities

• Understand technical designs, specifications, and infra project requirements.
• Prepare accurate budgetary estimates and ensure no cost/budget overrun.
• Identify, evaluate, and finalize vendors; maintain end-to-end vendor management.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, tender terms, and technical conditions.
• Negotiate with vendors to finalize competitive rates and contract terms.
• Release Work Orders / Purchase Orders on time.
• Ensure availability of funds as per monthly cash flow requirements.
• Oversee bill certification, approval documentation, and payment processing.
• Maintain vendor data and prepare MIS, dashboards, and smart reports.
• Monitor project cash flow, funding, WOs, taxation, and payments.
• Create contingency plans for delays or malfunctioning processes.
• Coordinate across project locations; travel when required.
• Support succession planning by training and guiding team members.
  

Required Skills

• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
• Advanced Excel, MS Office, AutoCAD
• Ability to implement MIS, dashboards, and analytical reports
• Understanding of project finance and site conditions
• Strong compliance orientation
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to travel to project sites

Qualifications

Minimum:

• B.E. (Electrical / Mechanical) with

  10+ years

  experience

  OR

• Diploma in Electrical / Electronics / Mechanical with

  15+ years

  experience

Preferred:

• Diploma in Finance Management
• Project Management certification
  

Experience Required

• Total 10 years

  of relevant experience

• Minimum 5 years

  in Procurement or Contract Management
• Proven track record in infrastructure projects
