We are looking for a results-driven and relationship-focused Procurement Manager to lead the

procurement of dairy-related inputs, including milk, machinery, packaging, and farm-level supplies. The role is critical in managing formal supplier networks and direct engagement with

farmers to ensure a consistent, high-quality, cost-effective supply chain.

The ideal candidate will oversee traditional procurement functions and be deeply involved in

building and maintaining long-term relationships with farmers, supporting farmer welfare

initiatives, and ensuring alignment with quality and compliance standards specific to the dairy

.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end procurement of raw milk, farm supplies, machinery, and packaging
• materials.
• Build strong relationships with farmers and milk procurement agents to ensure a consistent
• supply and quality.
• Drive farmer engagement programs focused on training, awareness, and productivity
• improvement.
• Evaluate and onboard vendors and service providers aligned with dairy industry standards.
• Lead price negotiations, contract management, and vendor performance tracking.
• Collaborate with the production, quality, and logistics teams to ensure seamless operations.
• Monitor procurement budgets, optimize costs, and implement control mechanisms.
• Ensure compliance with food safety norms, traceability, and sustainable procurement practices.
• Track procurement KPIs and generate reports for senior leadership.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Agriculture, Dairy Technology, Supply Chain, or a related field (MBA
• preferred).
• 8+ years of experience in procurement, preferably within the dairy or agri-FMCG sector.
• Proven experience in farmer interaction, rural procurement, or milk collection network
• management.
• Strong negotiation, vendor management, and analytical skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, especially in rural and multilingual settings.
• Knowledge of dairy supply chain dynamics and regulatory frameworks.
