Procurement Executive

Job Description: We are looking for a dynamic and committed Procurement Executive to manage sourcing and purchasing activities in the fisheries line. The ideal candidate should have at least 1 year of experience in purchase or sales, preferably in a similar domain, and must be comfortable with regular travel to coastal areas, ports, and vendor locations. Key Responsibilities: Source and procure fish, seafood, and related materials from reliable suppliers Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, and agents Negotiate prices, quality terms, and delivery timelines Ensure quality checks and compliance with food safety standards Track inventory and coordinate with cold storage and logistics teams Travel frequently for field visits and vendor meetings. Maintain procurement documentation and reports Requirements: Minimum 1 year of experience in purchase or sales Willingness to travel frequently. Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) Bachelor’s degree in any field (preferred) Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹9,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month Benefits: Food provided Schedule: Day shift Supplemental Pay: Yearly bonus Experience: Purchasing: 1 year (Preferred) Location: Medinipur, West Bengal (Preferred) Willingness to travel: 50% (Required) Work Location: In person
