Procurement Executive

Role & responsibilities

Procurement Planning & Sourcing

Identify project material requirements in coordination with project and engineering teams.

Develop and execute sourcing strategies to ensure cost-effective and timely procurement.

Source new vendors and materials to enhance quality and cost efficiency.

Vendor Management

Evaluate, negotiate, and finalize terms with suppliers and contractors.

Maintain vendor database and conduct regular performance assessments.

Build long-term supplier relationships ensuring consistent quality and reliability.

Purchase Operations

Prepare and issue purchase orders, work orders, and contracts.

Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and approval processes.

Monitor and expedite order deliveries; resolve discrepancies and delays.

Cost & Budget Control

Analyze market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities.

Compare quotations, prepare cost analyses, and support budget adherence.

Maintain transparent records for audit and cost-tracking purposes.

Coordination & Documentation

Coordinate with project sites, accounts, and logistics for smooth material flow.

Ensure proper documentation for billing, GRNs, and payment processing.

Maintain up-to-date records in ERP / procurement systems.

Compliance & Quality

Ensure all purchased materials meet technical specifications and quality standards.

Comply with legal, contractual, and safety norms in procurement activities.

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management / Commerce / Engineering / Construction Management.

3–7 years of experience in procurement within the real estate, construction, or infrastructure industry.

Working knowledge of ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) preferred.
