Job Description:

Labtech Electronics Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced Procurement Engineer – Instrumentation to handle technical procurement of field instruments and control equipment. This role involves strategic sourcing, vendor management, technical evaluation, and supply chain coordination for process instrumentation projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Procurement of industrial field instruments:
• Flow Meters (Electromagnetic, Ultrasonic, Mass, Vortex, Turbine)
• Pressure & Temperature Transmitters, Gauges, Analyzers, Valves, Fittings
• Evaluate RFQs and negotiate pricing, delivery, and terms with suppliers
• Identify and qualify new vendors (domestic and international)
• Coordinate with Engineering, Stores, Accounts, and Projects teams
• Release purchase orders in ERP and track delivery schedules
• Ensure compliance with taxation (GST), import procedures, and documentation
• Manage procurement schedules for ongoing projects and tenders
• Review vendor performance, lead time, and quality adherence

Desired Candidate Profile:

• Degree in Instrumentation / Electrical / Electronics Engineering
• 2 to 6 years of technical procurement experience in instrumentation or automation industry
• Familiarity with makes like Siemens, Endress+Hauser, WIKA, ABB, Yokogawa, Honeywell, etc.
• Experience in international sourcing (China, Europe, UAE) is a plus
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and ERP skills
• Strong understanding of datasheets, BOMs, project procurement cycles
