Job Title: Service cum Application Engineer Process Instruments Company: Labtech Electronics Private Limited Job Location: Chennai, Tamil Nadu (Full-time, On-site Role) Experience: 2 to 5 years in the field of Process Instrumentation Salary: 18,000 to 25,000 per month (based on experience and skills) Industry Type: Process Instruments Manufacturing (Specialized in Flow Meters, Water Meters, Analyzers, Temperature & Pressure Instruments) Roles and Responsibilities: Installation, calibration, and commissioning of instruments such as: Electromagnetic / Ultrasonic Flow Meters Water Meters Liquid and Gas Analyzers Temperature and Pressure Transmitters Provide technical support and troubleshooting services to clients on-site and remotely. Conduct field servicing and routine maintenance of installed instruments at customer locations. Train end-users and plant personnel on product usage and maintenance. Prepare service reports , installation records, and calibration certificates. Coordinate with the sales/application team for pre-sales demos and post-sales application support. Support product testing and validation at customer sites and provide customer feedback to R&D. Key Skills Required: Hands-on experience with process field instruments . Strong knowledge of flow measurement , temperature and pressure sensing , and analytical instrumentation . Familiarity with field communication protocols like HART, Modbus, or Profibus is an added advantage. Good communication skills in English and Tamil (Hindi is a plus). Willingness to travel for on-site service and commissioning across India. Qualifications: Diploma / B.E / B.Tech in Instrumentation , Electronics , Electrical , or related fields.
