Description
You will be working as a Procurement Cost Analyst at Micron Technology, a global leader in memory and storage solutions. Your responsibilities will include: - Conducting category cost analysis, especially in construction, equipment, spares, facilities expense, and tool installation projects. - Performing Price and Should Cost analysis to support category strategy and business negotiations. - Analyzing available reporting data to ensure alignment with business processes and data quality. - Assessing the quality of data, data reports, and associated decisions. - Generating summary and specified dashboard accounts for operational data in a concise and understandable format. - Collaborating with Category Managers, Program Managers, and other functional groups on global and regional process and IT improvement projects. - Identifying industry benchmarks, conducting market analysis, and sharing insights with business partners and leadership. - Utilizing information systems tools to address problems and enhance processes. Qualifications required for this role: - Bachelors or Masters Degree in Building & Quantity Surveying, Project or Construction Management, or related field. - Minimum 5+ years of relevant project experience in cost management, QS, Tool Installation, pricing, category or business analytics. - Proficiency in Microsoft applications, data analysis, Excel reports, and experience with visualization tools like Tableau or PowerBI. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the use of Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and benchmarking concepts. - Excellent communication, consulting, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
