Procurement Associate

As a Procurement Associate at TMS Global in Gurugram, India, you will have the opportunity to play a crucial role in supporting the European Procurement Team and managing the supplier base. Your responsibilities will involve ensuring the smooth operation of procurement activities and serving as the main point of contact for suppliers to maintain effective communication and updated vendor information. Your daily tasks will include owning the supplier onboarding process to ensure documentation and compliance, managing procurement data in SAP, running reports, and maintaining accuracy in operational queries for new and existing materials. Additionally, you will be responsible for sending out RFQs, chasing quotes, and preparing analyses for the European Procurement Team, as well as following up with suppliers to confirm forecasts, service continuity, and other KPIs. To excel in this role, you should be highly organized, proactive, and adept at maintaining operational efficiency. Previous experience in sourcing, procurement, or vendor management is essential, along with proficiency in handling data and systems such as SAP and Excel. Strong communication skills are crucial for successful collaboration with suppliers and internal teams, enabling you to effectively solve problems and ensure the seamless execution of procurement activities, particularly related to packaging and POS materials.,
