Job Description

As an experienced Inside Sales and Procurement Manager at GI, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing our global sales and procurement operations. Your role will be crucial in managing and directing the sales and procurement teams to ensure the acquisition of high-quality equipment and products while driving sales growth for our global operations. Your key responsibilities will include providing strategic direction for sales and procurement activities to align them with the company's overall objectives. You will lead and mentor the sales and procurement teams to execute effective strategies and achieve targets. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to analyze technical specifications and customer requirements for accurate sales proposals will be essential. In this role, you will develop and execute negotiation strategies with suppliers to optimize costs, lead times, and quality. Formulating comprehensive sales and procurement strategies, including identifying potential markets and customer segments, will be part of your responsibilities. Building strong relationships with suppliers and customers to drive mutually beneficial partnerships is crucial. You will oversee the coordination of sales and procurement activities to ensure the timely delivery of products and equipment. Managing and nurturing the supplier and customer network, while consistently evaluating performance and alignment with strategy, will be key. Monitoring market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and challenges is also part of the role. The ideal candidate will possess a strong ability to analyze technical documents and customer requirements to guide sales and procurement decisions. Excellent verbal and written communication skills at a managerial level are required. Proficiency in office software, particularly Microsoft Excel or similar tools, is necessary. Expertise in negotiating commercial terms and effectively managing end-to-end sales and procurement processes is essential. Exceptional leadership and team management skills are crucial to lead a globally distributed team effectively. Effective cross-cultural communication skills are needed for seamless coordination between Dubai and the United States offices. Preferred qualifications for this role include an MBA or advanced degree in business, sales, marketing, or related fields. A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical disciplines with a deep understanding of customers" technical needs is preferred.
