Process Specialist, Procurement Operations

Role Overview: As a Process Specialist in Procurement Operations at Diageo, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the company buys the right goods and services from the right suppliers at the right price. You will be part of the Supplier Experience Team, supporting the Global and Regional Category Procurement teams, STP systems support, and suppliers. Your expertise in sourcing and contracting processes will be essential in delivering productivity savings and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: - Manage and strategically coordinate sourcing requests (RFI, RFP, RFQ) and eAuctions within agreed SLAs and KPIs - Identify and implement opportunities for continuous system and process improvement - Provide technical support for eRFX and eAuction with strategy, content, and event management - Make recommendations on suppliers for sourcing events based on criteria like diversity, sustainability, and commercial advantage - Act as a champion for your defined area of spend, building proactive relationships with key stakeholders and influencing upwards - Lead the tendering process for goods and services, including designing the process, launching eSourcing requests, selecting suppliers, and signing off contracts Qualifications Required: - Degree educated preferably in a business or Procurement related field - 6+ years of experience in Procurement and Sourcing - Strong understanding of Sourcing/Capex - Advanced business, financial, legal, and commercial acumen - Proficiency in eSourcing tools like Coupa and CSO - Excellent analytical, interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and project management skills - Ability to work effectively in cross-functional and global teams - Language and cultural skills for the markets supported - Proactive, solution-oriented, and driven to succeed Additional Company Details: Diageo's Global Business Operations team provides critical strategic, financial, and business services across 21 markets worldwide.
