Role - PROCESS SAFETY ENGINEERLocation - ChennaiIndustry - Oil and GasYrs of experience - 8 to 15 yearsRole Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai for a Process Safety Engineer. The responsibilities include developing, implementing, and monitoring process safety management systems, performing risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. The Process Safety Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure adherence to process safety standards, conduct hazard analyses, and recommend safety measures to mitigate risks, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.

Qualifications

Strong knowledge and expertise in Process Safety Management and Process Safety principles
Proficiency in Quantitative Risk Assessment and Safety Engineering practices
Experience in undertaking and applying Process Safety Engineering techniques
Ability to identify potential hazards and implement appropriate safety solutions
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a similar engineering field
Prior experience in process safety roles, ideally within the chemical, manufacturing, or energy industries
Working knowledge of applicable safety regulations, codes, and standards
