The company fosters employee development and career progression through various programs. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role located in Anklesvar for an Assistant Manager. The Assistant Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of the manufacturing plant, ensuring efficient production processes and adherence to quality standards. The Assistant Manager – QC ADL is responsible for managing and overseeing quality control and analytical development activities in the plant for rubber chemicals and resin products. The role involves ensuring product quality compliance, method development, validation, troubleshooting, and coordination with cross-functional teams to maintain high analytical standards and regulatory compliances. Key Responsibilities: Quality Control (QC): Supervise and manage day-to-day QC lab operations including testing of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished goods. Ensure accurate and timely analysis of rubber chemicals and resins using techniques like GC, HPLC, FTIR, UV-Vis, TGA, DSC, titrations, and wet chemistry methods. Supervise and conduct routine testing of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products (rubber chemicals, resins, additives). Ensure testing is conducted as per SOPs, product specifications, and relevant standards (e.g., ASTM, ISO). Monitor key product parameters such as viscosity, softening point, molecular weight distribution, ash content, moisture, etc. Manage sample analysis turnaround time (TAT) to support production schedules. Ensure proper calibration, maintenance, and validation of laboratory instruments (GC, HPLC, FTIR, UV-Vis, TGA, DSC, etc.). Maintain laboratory documentation as per Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and company policies. Investigate out-of-specification (OOS) and non-conformance reports (NCRs); support root cause analysis and corrective actions. Support root cause analysis and CAPA for quality deviations or customer complaints. Analytical Development (ADL): Lead method development and validation for new rubber chemical and resin products. Optimize existing analytical methods for accuracy, sensitivity, and reproducibility. Prepare validation protocols and reports as per ICH and industry standards. Develop specifications for new products in collaboration with R&D and production teams. Optimize test methods for better precision, accuracy, and efficiency. Collaborate with R&D and production teams to understand product development needs and analytical requirements. Evaluate new analytical techniques or instruments for potential implementation. Conduct stability studies, impurity profiling, and method transfers as needed. Compliance & Documentation: Ensure compliance with regulatory, safety, and environmental standards applicable to chemical testing. Prepare and review technical documents: COAs, SOPs, calibration records, validation protocols, and method development reports. Participate in internal and external audits (ISO, customer audits, etc.). Maintain quality records and assist in data analysis and trend reporting for continuous improvement. Qualifications & Skills: Education: B.Sc. ( Chemistry Hons) M.Sc. in Organic Chemistry M. Tech in Polymer Science & Technology P. hd in Polymer Science & Technology Experience : One years+ of experience in QC/ADL within the rubber chemical industry, preferably in rubber chemicals, resins, or specialty chemicals. Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of analytical instruments and techniques (GC, HPLC, FTIR, UV-Vis, TGA, DSC). Familiarity with product standards relevant to rubber and resin applications. Understanding of GLP, ISO 9001/14001, and other applicable regulatory standards. Soft Skills : Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Good communication and reporting abilities.
