Process Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Facility Operations Management

  : Oversee day-to-day operations of the washing center, ensuring smooth processing of plastic waste.

• Chemical & Cleaning Process Optimization

  : Select and manage appropriate cleaning agents and chemicals to effectively wash different types of plastic waste.

• Team Leadership

  : Supervise and train facility staff, ensuring adherence to operational procedures and safety protocols.

• Equipment & Maintenance

  : Ensure washing equipment is maintained, troubleshoot breakdowns, and coordinate repairs.

• Procurement & Inventory Management

  : Oversee procurement of chemicals, cleaning agents, and maintenance supplies while managing operational costs.

• Regulatory Compliance & Safety

  : Ensure adherence to environmental and workplace safety regulations, implementing best practices for waste disposal and chemical handling.

• Process Improvement

  : Identify and implement improvements in washing techniques to enhance efficiency, quality, and sustainability.

• Reporting & Coordination

  : Work closely with the

  Director of Operations

  to provide operational insights, production updates, and recommendations for process enhancements.

Qualifications & Experience

• Education:

  Bachelors+ degree in chemical engineering or related field from a reputed institute. Masters degree preferred.

• Experience

  : 2+ years in managing a plastic washing center, recycling facility, or similar industrial washing operation.

• Technical Knowledge

  : Strong understanding of chemical cleaning agents, washing techniques, and mechanical processes for plastic waste cleaning.

• Leadership Skills

  : Experience in managing teams and training staff in operational best practices.

• Problem-Solving Ability

  : Hands-on approach to troubleshooting equipment and process inefficiencies.

• Regulatory Awareness

  : Familiarity with environmental and workplace safety regulations related to plastic processing.
