Process Engineer / Mechanical Engineer / Procurement Engineer

Job Summary:

We are hiring experienced candidates for the roles of Process Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, and Procurement Engineer. These roles will involve working on sewage and pipeline infrastructure projects with responsibilities ranging from process design and equipment selection, mechanical erection and commissioning, to procurement of materials and vendor management. The candidates must be open to site visits for erection, commissioning, and project supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Process Engineer

• Develop and optimize sewage treatment processes and pipeline systems.
• Prepare process flow diagrams (PFDs), piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs).
• Coordinate with design and project teams for process integration.
• Ensure compliance with environmental and safety standards.
• Support commissioning and troubleshooting during site visits.

1. Mechanical Engineer

• Manage mechanical design, erection, and commissioning of pipeline and sewage infrastructure equipment.
• Supervise mechanical installation activities at sites.
• Conduct inspections and quality control for mechanical components.
• Collaborate with vendors and contractors during execution.
• Ensure adherence to technical standards and safety protocols.

1. Procurement Engineer

• Manage procurement of materials, equipment, and services for sewage and pipeline projects.
• Vendor identification, evaluation, negotiation, and order placement.
• Prepare and process purchase orders, contracts, and maintain procurement documentation.
• Coordinate with project teams to ensure timely material delivery.
• Conduct site visits to monitor material installation and resolve supply chain issues.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelors or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related discipline.
• 3 to 12 years of relevant experience in sewage infrastructure, pipeline projects, or similar heavy infrastructure industries.
• Strong understanding of process engineering principles (for Process Engineer).
• Hands-on experience with mechanical erection, commissioning, and equipment handling (for Mechanical Engineer).
• Experience with procurement processes, vendor management, and supply chain coordination (for Procurement Engineer).
• Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, MS Office, ERP systems (for Procurement Engineer).
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel frequently for site visits in Pune and other project locations.
• Knowledge of Indian standards, quality, safety, and environmental regulations is a plus.
