Process Engineer

Role Overview: You will be responsible for serving as a technical lead within the reports for various refining technologies, implementing discipline delivered content into Palantir, and engaging with technical refining Subject Matter Experts (SMEs). Your main tasks will include developing enhanced monitoring tools for Refining Performance Unit Health Monitoring Squad, aiding in the initial roll-out of UHM to capture additional value from assets, completing monthly unit health monitoring reports for multiple refining units, driving the monthly unit health monitoring work process, working with the AIMS Support Engineer to update the AIMS tool as required, being a domain expert for AIMS use and calculations, providing assistance to the Squad Lead with team management, mentoring Early Careers engineers within the team, partnering with sites to drive resolution to UHM findings, suggesting and implementing work practice improvements for the entire Squad. Key Responsibilities: - Develop enhanced monitoring tools for Refining Performance Unit Health Monitoring Squad - Aid in the initial roll-out of UHM to capture additional value from assets - Complete monthly unit health monitoring reports for multiple refining units - Drive the monthly unit health monitoring work process, including leading handover meetings/discussions - Work with the AIMS Support Engineer to update the AIMS tool as required - Be a domain expert for AIMS use and calculations - Provide assistance to the Squad Lead with team management, including managing ADO Board, developing backlog items, etc. - Mentor Early Careers engineers within the team - Partner with sites to drive resolution to UHM findings - Suggest and implement work practice improvements for the entire Squad Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in science or engineering (or equivalent) - Strong refining technology background - Very good understanding of one or more refining unit operations and process calculations, including heat exchanger principles, distillation principles, fluid flow principles, and reaction principles - 8-13 years of experience - Previous experience providing process engineering monitoring of refinery process units, including on-site experience - Meticulous with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously - Good technical communication skills - Strong customer focus - Ability to coach and mentor other engineers in unit monitoring fundamentals Additional Company Details: This role is eligible for relocation within the country (India).
