Role Overview

Process-cum-Mechanical Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review

  PFDs, P&IDs, GA drawings, and process layouts

  .
• Perform

  process and mechanical design

  for APC systems and material handling systems.
• Selection and engineering of key equipment such as:
• Rotary Airlock Valves (RAV) / Slide Gates / Diverter Valves
• ID / FD / PA Fans
• Bag Filters, Filter Bags & Cages
• Double Flap Valves
• Screw & Drag Chain Conveyors
• ESP Internals
• Pulse Solenoid Valves
• Pumps & Piping Systems
• Wet & Dry Scrubber Components
• Prepare

  technical specifications, BOQs, datasheets

  , and review vendor drawings.
• Coordinate with

  vendors, clients, and site teams

  for engineering clarifications.
• Provide technical support during

  fabrication, erection, and commissioning

  .

Required Skills & Knowledge

• Strong understanding of

  combined process + mechanical engineering

  .
• Hands-on experience in

  APC systems and bulk material handling equipment

  .
• Knowledge of

  dust characteristics, gas flow dynamics, pressure drop, and temperature effects

  .
• Familiarity with

  industrial standards and good engineering practices

  .
• Working knowledge of

  AutoCAD

  and engineering documentation.

Educational Qualification

• B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering (preferred)

or

• Mechanical engineering background with

  strong process engineering exposure in APC systems

  .

Preferred Profile

• Experience in

  industrial engineering, EPC projects, or pollution control equipment

  .
• Strong analytical ability, attention to detail, and problem-solving mindset.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
