Process and Proposal Engineer

We're seeking a skilled Process and Proposal Engineer with experience in AutoCAD and a background in the pharmaceutical industry. The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing and fabricating process vessels, liquid, ointment, and sugar syrup equipment. Key responsibilities include preparing technical drawings, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring cost-effective and efficient design solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, drafting, and detail engineering of equipment (Pressure Vessels, Heat Exchangers, Storage Tanks) as per ASME/API/TEMA & PED standards

- Prepare GA drawings, P&ID drawings, and layout drawings using AutoCAD

- Create mechanical data sheets and ensure design accuracy

- Coordinate with other departments and clients to meet project requirements

- Prepare Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and costing

- Review and analyze specifications, sketches, and drawings to optimize designs

- Modify and revise designs to address operating deficiencies and production issues

- Prepare Technical and Commercial Offers

Requirements:

- BE in Mechanical Engineering or Diploma

- 3-5 years of experience in the manufacturing or pharmaceutical industry

- Strong knowledge of AutoCAD and experience in vessel fabrication

- Ability to work independently and coordinate with cross-functional teams

Preferred Skills:

- Hands-on experience with AutoCAD

- Experience in preparing GA drawings, P&ID drawings, and layout drawings

- Knowledge of ASME, API, TEMA, and PED standards

- Strong design, drafting, and detail engineering skills
