Join us in building a cleaner, greener tomorrow Are you ready to move beyond the desk and make a real-world impact? As an Associate Engineer at Lambert, you’ll be part of a multidisciplinary team that takes projects from concept to commissioning. This is a hands-on role where you’ll gain exposure to design, manufacturing, and field operations—perfect for those who thrive in dynamic environments and want to see their work come to life. Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for an Electro-Mechanical Engineer located in Mumbai. The Engineer will be responsible for designing and maintaining electrochemical reactors, including the Water Battery™, Softion, and Membrane Electro Reactor. Day-to-day tasks include overseeing electrical and mechanical components, analyzing system performance, and ensuring efficient and sustainable operations of the water treatment systems. ATTENTION : Here's the catch though, it's not going to be a cushy job where you are sitting in an AC office staring at a computer screen with your designs all the time. At Lambert you'll be working with the design team, the manufacturing team, and the operations team which means you will need to be on the shop floor during the manufacturing of the equipment and you will also need to be at the site during the setup and initial operation of the equipment. That being said, if you have the fire to prove yourself, if you get exhausted doing the same thing over and over again and are looking for something that will allow you to grow into an ENGINEER by definition, drop me a message or send me your resume at rayan@lambertwater.co Key Responsibilities Collaborate with design engineers to develop mechanical and electromechanical systems for advanced water treatment equipment. Support manufacturing by working directly on the shop floor during fabrication, assembly, and testing. Assist with on-site installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting equipment at client locations, ensuring smooth project delivery. Work cross-functionally with design, manufacturing, and field teams to ensure feasibility, manufacturability, and operational excellence. Drive continuous improvement by contributing ideas for product and process enhancements. Qualifications Master’s or Bachelor’s degrees in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electromechanics, or a related field. Solid understanding of electrical systems, circuits, and mechanical components. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Willingness to travel for site installations and fieldwork. Eagerness to learn, adapt, and take on multidisciplinary responsibilities. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Experience in equipment design, prototyping, or installation.
