Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Private Cloud Engineer to join our IT team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day administration, maintenance, and support of our private cloud infrastructure, ensuring maximum uptime, performance, and security. The candidate should have a strong understanding of cloud technologies, virtualization, and experience with scripting and automation tools, along with the ability to work well in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide support for private cloud infrastructure, including virtual machines, storage, and network components
Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to private cloud infrastructure, including performance and security-related issues
Participate in planning and implementation of Change in the infra and ensure flawless execution
Perform routine maintenance and updates to private cloud infrastructure
Automate routine tasks and processes using scripting and automation tools
Assist in the creation and implementation of backup and disaster recovery plans
Work collaboratively with other IT teams to ensure proper integration and functionality of private cloud systems with other IT systems
Develop and maintain documentation of private cloud infrastructure, including procedures and best practices
Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support as needed
Provide customer service and technical support to internal and external clients
