**Job Description** **Role Overview:** As an AVP in Private Bank Operations US located in Pune, India, you will provide daily support and guidance to staff within the department. You will collaborate closely with Team Managers, co-AVPs, and the Head to address operational issues, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and timely issue resolution. Your responsibilities will include transitioning new processes, cross-training, succession planning, preparing management reports, and interfacing with different departments to ensure accurate processing within deadlines. Additionally, you may handle activities such as BCM, Audits & Controls, Transformation, project management, and people management. **Key Responsibilities:** - Managing deal building, document validation, and deal closing with initial funding - Reviewing workflows, operating procedures, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and implementing process improvements - Prioritizing resolution of financial issues/breaks and investigating benchmark breaches for process improvement - Building process documentation, defining benchmarks, capacity models, and baseline volumes for newly transitioned processes - Developing and motivating the team through engagement, effective communication, and administering rewards - Driving process improvement, supporting change initiatives, and ensuring adherence to deadlines - Conducting operational performance reviews, participating in self-assessments, and connecting with stakeholders to prioritize business requirements - Managing risk, fostering a robust control environment, and building mechanisms to handle volume peaks during peak seasons **Qualifications Required:** - Strong understanding of Bilateral and syndicated Loan products - Good knowledge of Operational risk in Lending business with proactive control management - Hands-on experience with Loan IQ application - Self-starter with the ability to plan and implement process change initiatives - Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and leadership skills - Effective communication, Microsoft Office proficiency, and ability to compile data for MIS reporting - Willingness to work in night shifts - Graduation with good academic records - Minimum 10 years of experience in the same industry and function Omitting additional details of the company from the job description.,
