About the Role

Mahalakshmi Prints is seeking an experienced Printing Press Unit Manager to lead and manage operations at our Ganapathy facility. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise in offset printing along with proven leadership skills to ensure production efficiency, quality, and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage day-to-day operations of the printing press unit.
• Plan and monitor production schedules to achieve targets.
• Supervise staff and allocate responsibilities effectively.
• Oversee machine maintenance and resolve operational issues.
• Manage raw material inventory and coordinate with vendors.
• Enforce safety, quality, and compliance standards.
• Optimize workflow to reduce costs and improve productivity.
• Prepare regular reports for senior management.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Printing Technology or relevant qualification.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in offset printing press operations.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Thorough knowledge of printing machinery and processes.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making ability.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
