Printer Technician

Job Summary:

As a Printer Service Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal functionality and performance of Printers portable computing devices. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and excellent customer service to diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues. You will work in a dynamic environment, collaborating with customers and colleagues to provide timely and effective solutions, making this role integral to the smooth operation of businesses and individuals who rely on & Printer for their work and personal needs.

• On-Site Servicing: In addition to servicing Printer in a workshop or service centre, the Service Engineer may be required to travel to customer sites. This includes Stores, offices, or other locations where Printers need servicing. While on-site, the engineer should maintain professionalism and adhere to safety protocols to ensure a positive customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnosis and Troubleshooting: Perform in-depth analysis to identify hardware and software problems in & Printers. Utilise diagnostic tools, manuals, and your technical knowledge to pinpoint issues accurately.
• Repair and Maintenance: Execute repairs, replacements, and upgrades for components, including but not limited to, processors, memory, hard drives, and batteries. Ensure all repairs meet quality standards.
• Software Support: Install, update, and configure operating systems, drivers, and software applications. Resolve software-related issues such as malware, viruses, and system crashes.
• Data Backup and Recovery: Implement data backup solutions and assist customers in recovering lost or corrupted data, ensuring data privacy and security.

Qualifications:

• A degree or diploma in computer science, electronics, or a related field is preferred.
• Proven experience as a Printer service technician or a similar role in the IT industry.
• Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing & Printer hardware and software issues.
