As part of the team, you will have the opportunity to focus on delivering unrivaled digital products that drive a more reliable and profitable airline. **Key Responsibilities**: - Write, test, and document technical work products according to organizational standards - Deliver high-quality work and coach team members on technical craftsmanship - Conduct root cause analysis to identify systemic problems and lead execution of action items - Design integrated systems that model organizational best practices for speed, scale, and reliability - Oversee management of technical debt in existing systems and drive opportunities for elimination - Anticipate and address scaling, latency, and durability challenges - Partner with the security organization to incorporate security practices early in new systems - Evaluate technical risks and guide prevention strategies - Collaborate across teams to resolve problems and break down silos - Build and maintain relationships with engineering and product leaders **Qualifications Required**: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems, Engineering, or related discipline - 8+ years of experience designing and implementing large-scale solutions in production environments - Master's degree in relevant technical discipline or equivalent experience - Preferred: Experience in the airline industry **Skills, Licenses & Certifications**: - Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, and Javascript/Typescript - Familiarity with frameworks like Spring/SpringBoot and FastAPI - Experience with front-end technologies like Angular/React and deployment technologies like Kubernetes and Docker - Knowledge of source control tools like GitHub and Azure DevOps - Understanding of CI/CD processes using GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps - Expertise in data management with databases like PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Redis - Familiarity with integration/APIs technologies such as Kafka, REST, and GraphQL - Experience with cloud providers like Azure and AWS - Ability to optimize solutions for performance, resiliency, and reliability while maintaining simplicity - Proficiency in object-oriented design, Agile methodologies, and DevOps toolchain - Strong communication skills and ability to convey ideas effectively - Capability to work collaboratively with others and share responsibilities The company offers various benefits including travel perks, health benefits, wellness programs, 401(k) program, employee assistance program, pet insurance, and discounts on various services.
