Job Description

As a Principal, Software Engineering at Mastercard Cross Border Services, you will play a key role in driving collaboration and defining technical strategy to achieve desired outcomes. Your responsibilities will include: - Leading the architecture and design of software systems and applications. - Collaborating with product teams to understand requirements and provide technical thought leadership. - Implementing Domain Driven Design methodology. - Ensuring solutions meet corporate standards and operability principles. You will also be responsible for: - Leading software development projects, particularly at early stages like PoC and Pilot. - Working across various languages and frameworks, with a focus on declarative paradigm and functional programming. - Building secure solutions by design and maintaining relationships with technical peers. - Contributing to the Software Engineering Guild and promoting a culture of engineering excellence. Key Qualifications: - Broad experience as a Software Engineer / Full Stack Developer. - Proficiency in implementing design patterns and using multiple programming languages. - Experience in building and operating scalable global platforms with high availability. - In-depth knowledge of Java, Spring framework, persistence, messaging technologies, and testing methodologies. - Familiarity with Public Cloud platforms, containers, container orchestration, and cryptography functions.
