REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Experience: 10+ years of software development experience, with a proven history of delivering large-scale, complex software systems.

• Java Expertise: Expert-level proficiency in Java, including Spring Boot and building robust services, applying good engineering disciplines like code reviews and comprehensive unit testing.

• Architecture: Strong experience applying the MVC pattern and building highly scalable, resilient systems on cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Oracle Cloud, or Azure).

• Databases: Expertise in relational (e.g., Oracle, PostgreSQL) and key-value/in-memory databases (e.g., Redis). This includes a deep understanding of SQL and experience with Rediss capabilities for caching, session management, and high-performance applications.

• DevOps & CI/CD: Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines using tools like Harness and Jenkins.

• Leadership & Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences, with a demonstrated ability to lead and influence technical teams and drive projects to completion.

• Security: Knowledge of security best practices and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, SOC 2).

• Generative AI (GenAI): Experience in AI/ML with a focus on GenAI and working with large language models (LLMs), including their integration into enterprise-grade Java applications.

• Data & Pipelines: Experience with RAG pipelines, and a specific understanding of how Redis can be used for vector search, caching, and serving embeddings. This includes familiarity with embedding models.

WITHIN ONE MONTH, YOU LL

• Become familiar with the code base, development processes, and deployments.

• Become familiar with the product, as customers will use it.

• You may even have your first PR approved and in production.

WITHIN THREE MONTHS, YOU LL

• Become a contributor to the overall code base.

• Have PRs approved and deployed to production

• Contribute to design

WITHIN SIX MONTHS, YOU LL

• Working more autonomously and closer with the product

• Helping troubleshoot issues

• Contribute new ideas to the product and development

WITHIN TWELVE MONTHS, YOU LL

• Become a UI expert for your project.

• Take complete ownership of the features and processes of the product
