Job Description

Role Overview: As a Principal Service Operations Engineer, you will play a crucial role in guiding the transition of PACS imaging systems and enterprise PACS migration. Your expertise in DICOM standards and imaging workflows will be utilized to ensure a seamless transfer of imaging data with minimal downtime, reliable access for radiologists, and physicists. Key Responsibilities: - Develop solutions architecture for migration across multiple legacy systems into the new PACS platform. - Collaborate with PACS vendors and internal teams to design and validate migration strategy, including data mapping, conversion, and testing. - Ensure adherence to DICOM, HL7, and IHE standards for interoperability. - Execute validation plans to confirm performance, data integrity, security, and clinical usability post-migration. - Support upgrades, cutover planning, and go-live readiness to minimize downtime and disruption. - Establish knowledge management artifacts such as playbooks, runbooks, and KB articles. - Provide ongoing production support for issues, escalations, and troubleshooting. Qualifications Required: - 10+ years of experience in PACS/enterprise imaging solutions. - Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science or Equivalent. - Expertise in solution architecture for clinical applications, imaging archives, and data storage. - Strong knowledge of DICOM standards, radiology imaging workflows, and integration with EMR/EHR systems. - Understanding of security and compliance requirements like HIPAA, PHI, and access control. - Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with stakeholders. - Experience working in global delivery models across U.S. and India teams.,
