Job Title: Principal Quality Assurance Engineer
Job Summary:
Validate software products through the use of systematic tests to develop, apply and maintain quality standards for company products. Develops and executes software test strategies at a product and corporate level. Analyzes and writes test standards and procedures. Maintains documentation of test results to assist in validation and modification of software. Analyzes test results to ensure existing functionality and recommends corrective action. Executes and provides feedback to engineers, architects, and product management on performance, load and stress tests that determine platform and application capabilities of the end-to-end system. Interacts with Vendors, Customers, and internal Sales and Support organizations.
Job Responsibilities:
- Test, reproduce and troubleshoot customer issues
- Validate hotfixes and patches before delivery to customers/deployment to production environments.
- Ensure timely and high-quality resolution of defects impacting customers.
- Participate to Patch/ SP plannings with input in the testing scenarios and impact over the customer deployment
- Independently tests ACI system software.
- Participates in design discussions/reviews, establishing requirements which are complete, easily traceable and testable.
- Researches and resolves reported systems software problems efficiently and accurately while adhering to internal software management standards and procedures.
- Update test cases, test plans and test strategies for the product, to account for changes in product/market/ACI roadmap.
- Interfaces with outside organizations as required, to present and discuss the technical issues of assigned projects. Organizations could include ACI customers, various interchanges, hardware and software vendors.
- Develops and provides technical training to ACI staff and customers. Mentors Quality Solution Experts in growing team expertise.
- Consults with development engineers in resolution of problems.
- Develops, executes and analyzes the output from scripts that capture application and platform performance metrics.
- Provides Performance and Deployment Architecture support and guidance to product teams.
- Provides guidance to teams in their usage of the ACI Automation Framework and is involved with all key framework decisions made to their product/project.
- Reviews project metrics and comes up with development plans to improve team performance.
- Reduce project cost and time to deliver, by making optimal risk assessments.
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Understand and adhere to all corporate policies to include but not limited to the ACI Code of Business Conduct and Ethics.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience required for the job:

Strong experience in testing/installing enterprise-level applications, preferably in a maintenance or support context.
- Excellent debugging, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience required.
- 10+ years Quality Assurance/Systems Engineering experience.
- Understanding and experience with platform and operating system architecture.
- 5+ years test automation experience.
- Acts independently to determine methods and procedures on new or special assignments.
- Experience in engineering/administration with Test Management and Defect Management Tools.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Experience needed for the job:

PRM/Fraud knowledge
- Master s degree preferred.
- Relevant software quality certification preferred.
Work Environment:
- Standard work environment
- Majority of time spent on PC (Phys. Req.)
- Travel required, may be domestic or international. #LI-AP
