Job Description

As a Principal Engineer at Tungsten Automation, your role is pivotal in ensuring that the company's products and technology solutions meet the highest standards and customer requirements. You will oversee larger and more complex departmental work, guide less experienced staff, lead cross-functional projects, contribute to technical training plans, and serve as a key departmental representative. Your key responsibilities will include: - Developing quality assurance standards, requirements, and metrics for all Tungsten Automation products and customer-specific technology solutions. - Identifying, acquiring, and utilizing industry best-practice equipment, systems, and programs for quality assurance testing. - Collaborating with Core Engineering and Product Management to evaluate product roadmaps and provide a specialist quality assurance perspective. In this role, you will be expected to: - Develop and execute quality assurance test plans. - Maintain automated test programs and scripts. - Create detailed test procedures and cases. - Collaborate to resolve issues and evaluate test results. - Continuously improve quality assurance testing processes. - Contribute to downstream activities such as technical publications. To excel in this position, you should keep abreast of industry developments, quality assurance technologies, and evolving customer needs. Occasional domestic and/or international travel of up to 10% may be necessary. **Required Skills:** - SaaS product testing - Web application testing **Required Experience:** Candidates for this role should have: - A Graduate Degree in a related discipline (strongly preferred). - 7-10 years of relevant technical experience.
