Job Description

As a seasoned Product Management professional, you will have the exciting opportunity to join the Nutanix Database Service (NDB) Product team focusing on bringing hybrid and multi-cloud Databases as a Service to the enterprise. This role will involve collaborating with talented individuals across the US, India & Europe in an open culture that values collaboration, innovation, and knowledge sharing. Reporting to the Sr. Director, Product Management, you will assist in defining the NDB product roadmap and work closely with engineering and sales teams to capture customer needs and define product requirements. Additionally, you will collaborate on DBaaS multi-cloud mobility strategy and evaluate new technologies in the database ecosystem such as Open Source, Postgres, MongoDB, and Kubernetes. To excel in this role, you should possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, with an MBA preferred. A minimum of 12 years of industry experience and at least 5 years of product management experience in Database as a Service (DBaaS) is required. Deep database experience with Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB is essential, along with the ability to engage with industry groups, partners, and customers effectively. This position offers a hybrid work setup, requiring employees to be in the office for 3 days a week, allowing for a good balance between remote work and in-person collaboration. Travel requirements will depend on project needs, providing flexibility and adaptability based on the situation. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills are crucial for success in this role.
