Job Description

As a Lead Process Engineer at Arcadis, you will be responsible for supporting multiple mid to large-sized projects within the Process Team. Your role will involve mentoring less experienced Engineers, Piping Designers, and CAD Designers in generating design documents as per the ARCADIS Design Deliverables Matrix. You are expected to demonstrate expertise in various process engineering unit operations, biological manufacturing methods, and semiconductor processes. Your responsibilities will include coordinating construction activities for large projects, managing project teams, advising as a subject matter expert, and ensuring technical quality, budget, and schedule adherence. Key Responsibilities: - Engage with all levels of ARCADIS and client organizations on technical discussions related to Chemical and Biological Process Engineering. - Manage large project teams and support the Discipline Manager in conducting performance reviews. - Coordinate construction activities, manage submittals, RFIs, vendor activities, field evaluations, and commissioning support. - Apply good engineering judgment to support design decisions with sound reasoning. - Provide mentorship and on-the-job training to less experienced engineers. - Attend training seminars/events, conduct industry research, and publish technical work to support professional development. Qualifications: - Education/Experience: Graduate/master's degree in Chemical Engineering with 15 to 20 years of related experience in design and engineering, preferably in the Pharmaceuticals/Bio-Pharmaceuticals domain. - Language Ability: Proficient in reading, analyzing, and interpreting complex documents. Skilled in making persuasive presentations on complex topics. - Mathematical Ability: Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts and operations to various tasks. - Reasoning Ability: Proficient in logical thinking and dealing with a wide range of intellectual and practical problems. - Software Skills: Proficient in MS Office Suite, intermediate knowledge of VISIO, Bluebeam Revu, Hydraulic Flow Software, Process Modeling Software (e.g., SuperPro), Navisworks.
