Principal I, Application Development

As the Principal of Application Development at Herbalife Nutrition, you will act as a technical expert in Application Services, providing guidance and support in high-expertise areas. Qualifications: Skills: - 8+ years of experience in delivering web technologies, with experience in leading consumer app development. - Proficiency in Java, J2EE, Spring/Spring Boot/Spring Cloud/Quarkus, RESTful Web Services, API Gateway technologies, Azure cloud services, Docker, Kubernetes, JPA/Hibernate, relational and NoSQL databases, CI/CD tools, and more. - Experience with Confluent Kafka is a plus. - Strong knowledge of release/build/configuration management practices and software best practices. - Hands-on experience in architecture design and development of large-scale applications. - Understanding of object-oriented design, functional programming, and service-oriented architecture. - Ability to prioritize work and manage projects within aggressive timelines. - Experience in Software Development Process Management using Kanban, Scrum, or Scaled Agile. - Understanding of complex development issues including security, accessibility, and cross-browser/device compatibility. Certificates/Training: - Certifications demonstrating industry recognition for area of expertise. Experience: - 8+ years of experience in applications with deep expertise in one area. - 6+ years of experience in designing and developing end-to-end complex applications. Education: - Bachelor's in computer science or equivalent. - Advanced Technical Degree preferred.
