Principal Engineer - Water

• Develop and implement engineering designs and models for water projects, utilizing advanced software tools.
• Conduct feasibility studies, assessments, and analyses of water systems to determine optimal solutions.
• Ensure projects adhere to local, state, and federal regulations, and maintain high standards of quality and safety.
• Collaborate with clients, contractors, and governmental agencies to achieve project objectives.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineering staff.
• Prepare and present technical reports, proposals, and presentations to stakeholders.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in water engineering.
  

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of water resources engineering principles and practices.
• Strong project management and leadership skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in using engineering software tools and modeling programs such as AutoCAD, EPANET, HEC-RAS, or similar.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Familiarity with environmental regulations and permitting processes related to water projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering; Master’s degree preferred.
• Professional Engineer (PE) licensure required.
• Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in water resources engineering or related field.
