Principal Engineer - Verification

As a Verification Engineer at Microchip Technology, Inc., you will play a crucial role in the Block level verification. Your responsibilities will include: - Developing verification test plans based on design specifications. - Creating test environments using System Verilog and UVM verification methodologies. - Integrating with RTL and conducting basic simulation bring-up for the design. - Generating Code/Functional coverage, analyzing coverage results, and correlating them with the test plan. - Collaborating with the design team members to identify and resolve problems efficiently. - Bringing a self-motivated and enthusiastic approach to meet new requirements and overcome challenges. Qualifications Required: - Domain Expertise in AHB, AXI, PCIe, USB, and Ethernet. - Proficiency in Verilog and System Verilog languages. - Experience with OVM/UVM/VMM methodologies. - Familiarity with Questasim, VCS, NCSim, NCVerilog EDA Tools. - Experience in developing Test Bench components at both block level and SOC level. - Ability to create test plans and write test sequences. - Knowledge of Functional Coverage, Code Coverage & Assertions (OVA, SVA, PSL) is desirable. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. - Teamwork orientation and a drive to excel in a competitive environment. Qualification: - Bachelor's Level Degree (ECE, EE / preferred specialization) with over 9 years of work experience.
