We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Principal Engineer Process to join our team in Bengaluru. The ideal candidate will have 12-18 years of experience in the Water/wastewater treatment sector, with expertise in process design and development.
Roles and Responsibility
- Design and develop innovative water treatment processes, including DAF, RGFs, Disinfection, membrane filtration (UF, NF & RO), and other advanced technologies.
- Conduct plant and process reviews, assessments, route-cause analysis, and apply cutting-edge evaluation techniques to ensure optimal performance.
- Develop feasibility, outline, and detailed process designs, including mass balances, process flow diagrams, P&IDs, design risk assessments, control philosophies, commissioning strategies, plant and equipment specifications, and supplier tender evaluation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet client requirements.
- Utilize digital design tools such as unit process sizing and other automated design tools to enhance efficiency.
- Prepare technical reports at all stages of the project lifecycle to ensure timely delivery.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from a recognized university in India or abroad.
- Minimum 12 years of experience in the Water/wastewater treatment sector, with a focus on process design and development.
- Strong knowledge of industry best practices, regulatory standards, and codes pertinent to the Water Industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Experience working on UK/Europe/US/Canada projects is mandatory, demonstrating a strong understanding of international standards and regulations.
- Ability to coordinate with wider teams in multidisciplinary projects, focusing on collaboration and teamwork.
