Principal Engineer

to drive innovation and excellence in our engineering team. In this pivotal role, you will spearhead the development of advanced software solutions that power business success and transform digital experiences. You will be a key technical leader, shaping architectural decisions, mentoring developers, and driving best practices across the stack. If you're a visionary engineer with a passion for tackling complex challenges and pioneering cutting-edge development, we want you on our team.

Responsibilities

• Develop APIs following REST specifications

  Ensure seamless integrations and efficient data handling.

• Participate in requirements review

  Collaborate with stakeholders to refine technical specifications.

• Lead end-to-end delivery of key modules

  Write clean, scalable code using Java 21.

• Test and deploy applications and systems

  Maintain high-quality standards in development and implementation.

• Refactor and debug code

  Continuously improve software for performance and reliability.

• Enhance existing software

  Apply industry best practices for code optimization and constant refinement.

• Create and maintain documentation

  Support the software development life cycle with clear technical references.

• Design and implement multi-tier software

  Work with Java, React, MFE, MongoDB, and Event Hubs for scalable solutions.

• Contribute to a fast-paced engineering team

  Deliver impactful solutions for Eptura's business clients.

• Optimize performance and monitor live systems

  Ensure stability and responsiveness in production environments.

• Mentor and guide team members

  Share knowledge and help develop technical expertise.

• Innovate in engineering hackathons

  Bring fresh ideas and contribute to key initiatives.

About You

• Minimum 8 years of experience as a Java Developer

  Strong expertise in building scalable applications.

• Experience with MFE Framework and Event-Driven Architecture

  Ability to design modular and responsive systems.

• Proficiency in React

  Front-end development skills to complement backend expertise.

• Hands-on experience with DevOps practices

  Knowledge of Continuous Delivery for seamless deployments.

• At least 2 years of experience with Azure

  Cloud-based development and infrastructure expertise.

• Understanding of Agile methodologies

  Ability to work iteratively in dynamic environments.

• Practical knowledge of CI/CD

  Automation skills for efficient software delivery.
