Principal Engineer-Analog IP/IC

As a Principal Engineer specializing in Semiconductor Chip Design with a focus on Analog IP/IC, you will lead and coordinate the execution of analog and mixed-signal integrated circuit development projects. Your role demands a strong technical background in analog design, verification, and physical implementation, alongside exceptional project management skills. Your oversight will ensure the precision and reliability of high-performance analog circuits in semiconductor designs. Key Responsibilities: - Design analog/mixed-signal blocks including ADC/DAC, PLL, LDO/DCDC, IO, Motor & Gate Drivers. - Perform MATLAB modeling, circuit simulations, and post-layout analysis such as LPE and Monte Carlo. - Develop and manage verification plans, mixed-signal simulation, and behavioral models. - Guide custom layout activities and ensure compliance with DRC/LVS/ESD/DFM requirements. - Collaborate effectively with digital, verification, layout, and test teams. - Utilize industry-standard EDA tools like Custom Compiler. Required Skills & Experience: - Minimum of 8+ years of experience in custom analog/mixed-signal design. - Proficiency in variation-aware design, verification planning, and cross-functional teamwork. - Hands-on experience with Layout Parasitic Extraction (LPE), Custom IC Design, and EDA Tools for Analog Design. - Strong design and debugging skills. - Experience in Product Support for both Pre and Post Production Stages, including support for RMA teams. Preferred Skills and Experience: - At least 1+ years of Project Management experience with Waterfall and Agile Hybrid Methodology. - Focus on Continuous Improvement initiatives. Qualifications: - Masters in VLSI design from reputable universities like IIT/NIT with a background in Bachelors in Electronics and Communication, or a related field. In addition to the technical requirements, familiarity with process control and excellent written and oral communication skills are essential for success in this role.,
