As a Principal Engineer - Analog IP/IC specializing in Semiconductor Chip Design, your role involves leading and coordinating the execution of analog and mixed-signal integrated circuit development projects. You must possess a strong technical background in analog design, verification, and physical implementation, along with exceptional project management skills. Your responsibilities will include: - Designing analog/mixed-signal blocks such as ADC/DAC, PLL, LDO/DCDC, IO, Motor & Gate Drivers. - Running MATLAB modeling, circuit simulations, and post-layout analysis (LPE, Monte Carlo). - Developing and managing verification plans, mixed-signal simulation, and behavioral models. - Guiding custom layout and ensuring DRC/LVS/ESD/DFM compliance. - Collaborating with digital, verification, layout, and test teams. - Utilizing industry-standard EDA tools like Custom Compiler. - Providing product support. To excel in this role, you are expected to have: - Minimum 8+ years of experience in custom analog/mixed signal design. - Proficiency in variation-aware design, verification planning, and cross-functional teamwork. - Familiarity with Layout Parasitic Extraction (LPE), Custom IC Design, and EDA Tools for Analog Design. - Strong design and debugging skills. - Experience in Product Support for both Pre and Post Production Stages, and Support for RMA teams. Preferred skills and experience include: - Minimum 1+ years of Project Management (Waterfall and Agile Hybrid Methodology). - Focus on continuous improvement. Qualifications required for this position are: - Masters in VLSI design from reputed universities like IIT/NIT with a background in Bachelors in Electronics and Communication, or a related field. Additionally, familiarity with process control and excellent written and oral skills are preferred qualifications for this role.,
