Job Title: Primary Teacher (Mathematics)

(Experienced in teaching International Curriculum: IB/Cambridge)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Primary Mathematics Teacher to deliver high-quality instruction aligned with international curricula such as IB or Cambridge. The ideal candidate should have a passion for foundational mathematics education, the ability to engage young learners, and a solid understanding of international teaching methodologies and assessments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and age-appropriate mathematics lessons in accordance with international curriculum standards.
• Create a positive, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment.
• Develop lesson plans, assessments, and instructional materials aligned with curriculum learning objectives.
• Use varied teaching strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.
• Prepare students for relevant international assessments (e.g., Cambridge Primary Checkpoint or IB PYP evaluations).
• Monitor student progress, provide timely feedback, and maintain academic records.
• Contribute to report writing and participate in parent-teacher meetings.
• Collaborate with peers to design cross-curricular and inquiry-based learning experiences.
• Take part in school events, professional development programs, and training initiatives.
• Ensure classroom discipline, safety, and a respectful learning atmosphere.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics or Education (with Mathematics specialization).
• B.Ed. or equivalent recognized teaching qualification is preferred.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience teaching in an international curriculum setting (IB and/or Cambridge).
• Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for teaching Mathematics.
