Primary Mathematics Teacher

Role Overview: As a Primary Teacher for Mathematics focusing on the Cambridge Curriculum, your role involves delivering engaging and age-appropriate mathematics lessons aligned with the Cambridge Primary Curriculum. You will create a positive and inclusive classroom environment, develop lesson plans and instructional materials, and prepare students for assessments. Monitoring students" progress, providing feedback, maintaining records, and collaborating with colleagues are also key responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: - Deliver engaging and age-appropriate mathematics lessons following the Cambridge Primary Curriculum. - Create a positive, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment. - Develop lesson plans, assessments, and instructional materials in line with Cambridge learning objectives. - Utilize various teaching strategies to accommodate different learning styles and abilities. - Prepare students for Cambridge Primary Checkpoint assessments and internal evaluations. - Monitor and report on students" progress, offering timely feedback. - Maintain student records, contribute to report writing, and participate in parent-teacher meetings. - Collaborate with colleagues to create cross-curricular learning experiences. - Engage in school events, training sessions, and development programs. - Ensure discipline, safety, and a respectful classroom atmosphere. Qualifications and Experience: - Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics or Education (with Mathematics specialization). - B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification is preferred. - Minimum 3 years of experience teaching with the Cambridge Primary Curriculum. - Strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching Mathematics. - Commitment to continuous professional development and collaborative teaching.,
