Job Title: Mathematics Teacher Primary Classes (Grades 1–5)
Location: Orchids International School Chinchwad
Qualification:
Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics or related field
B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) – Mandatory
CTET/State TET qualification preferred
Experience:
Minimum 1–5 years of teaching experience in a recognized school (preferred)
Freshers with strong subject knowledge and teaching aptitude may also apply
Key Responsibilities:
Teach Mathematics to students from Grades 1–5 in an engaging and interactive manner
Develop lesson plans aligned with the school’s curriculum and academic standards
Use activity-based and experiential learning methods to strengthen numerical and logical reasoning
Conduct formative and summative assessments to monitor student progress
Provide individual attention and remedial support to students as needed
Maintain an encouraging classroom environment that promotes curiosity and learning
Integrate technology and teaching aids to make math concepts easy and interesting
Participate in school events, parent-teacher meetings, and academic workshops
Maintain student records and ensure discipline in the classroom
Skills Required:
Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics (Primary Level)
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Ability to create engaging lesson plans and hands-on learning experiences
Patience, creativity, and passion for teaching young learners
Proficiency in English (spoken and written)
Basic computer knowledge (MS Office, Smart Board usage, etc.)
